It’s been a while…

But here’s the follow up on the Seaside entry.
Like I told you guys we went to the beach and into the city of The Hague after that. Then we met up with some friends of Tessa, back from when she was in Ghana.

Kenke and fish. Ben ate the head, Tessa the tail and I got the middle part, because I’m not an experienced African food eater. I really appreciated that. Kenke is like a big ball of dough, which you should eat with a lot of peppersauce. Without chewing, so it will hit your stomach hard and you will feel full for a longer time…

They insisted on accompanying us till the trainstation. It’s an African custom to acoompany your guests as long as you can. For a moment I thought they’d bring us all the way to Nijmegen (which is on the other side of the country).

This guy – I forgot his name – asked if he could travel with us since he then could benefit from our student discount on public transport. Sure. No problem.
He told us he went to visit “someone special and secret” in The Hague.
I thought he was talking about his drugsdealer, because he seemed a bit… out of it.
But it turned out to be his girlfriend; their parents don’t agree on their relationship since they’re from a different religion. How Romeo and Juliet.

After I made that shot I jokingly said he’ll be in my photoalbum now. And he was like “Huh? What?! Really?”. Uhm, no not really. Really not.

I developed some other roll, one lying around for some time. With photos on it I couldn’t really recall.

My negscanner tends to crop on his own when there are a lot of blacks in a photo. Thank you very much.

I tried to make a shot of myself in action with the timer, but it didn’t do what I wanted it to do, haha.

Look at that brush in my mouth – I’m such an all round artist!!! XD

The wall is warm beige now, with the photos on it I got from Keith, Severin, Trond and Kevin. I’m gonna wait for those of Kira and then I’ll do a “finished” photo of it.

Snow! Two weeks ago. The first time in the season. Then a lot of sun and warmth. And now… rain again.

Hello Boss.

One of my homies. I went up to her room to borrow her bicycle, but she turned into bed early. Just thought it was a sweet sight. Her boyfriend was rolling his eyes at me.

Dinner at Marieke. The sign says “Do you also always secretly think about sex when you’re doing the dishes?”.

Hanging out in the oldest pub in Nijmegen. Oldest AND with the widest variety of beers. Hmmm, Triple Karmeliet.

Ate was there too : )
