Opposite Day
January 17, 2007
A blog entry mostly for my friends, because I can imagine this does not really speak to you if you weren’t there?
Hmm, there’s a slight pile of film I have yet to develop from the past 6 months. And now I’m randomly developing, so this is from back in September. University started again and the weather was extremely beautiful. So we skipped a lot of classes and neglected our obligations because we had the feeling every day could be the last day of summer. Lots of hanging in parks and down by the river.

All on APX100, with the Canonet 45/1.8

I have no idea why you’d think me and my friends are obsessed with recording our lives.

Ah, unmissable: cheap wine.

So casually sensual!

Hehehe, I really like this shot…

And I want to print this one:

Semi-foodfight:

Hmm, I can hardly imagine it being good weather ever again. Just got back from the uni scanning these negs and got totally soaked. I wonder how long this little country will take before getting flooded, this might very well be my last update :O
Seaside and other places
January 9, 2007
The last Friday of 2006 I went to the seaside (Scheveningen) with Tessa. One of the better days I’ve had; good times.
Ilford HP5 (I’m sticking to Neopan400 from now on). Obviously (and too bad) all negscans, it shows… I’m sorry.
Train.
Tram.
And finally the sea!
Byebye ball.
Some guys juggling their big ass cameras and lenses, with which they just shot some seagulls. The guy on the right was really kind.
Tessa. I’m really looking forward to printing this shot. Won’t happen anytime soon though, I’m afraid. There are supposedly more important things going on right now. Bluh. (And yes, have to give the negs a nice lukewarm bath with some soap first!)
We went into The Hague after the beach. To shop. This frame was in the fittingroom at Hennes & Mauritz, where I bought a nice shirt (70% off, ha!). I always have to make a stupid semi selfportrait… To prove I was there too, haha.
And after that we went to a nice pub. For some hot & alcoholic beaverages.
(Not too shabby for a 1/15er).
Then we met some friends from Ghana and had some typical Ghanesian food; tasty :O Have yet to develop that neopan1600 roll though.
Now for some older stuff…
The ever so handsome JD.
(Please don’t move when I’m shooting at f/1.7)
I dunno…
That’s me taking that shot above here, shot by JD

Two of the few frames I shot with my new Minolta s7II. Had to go for f/2.8 though, since the focus is off. Too bad!
Despair!
Boring trainride, boring shot.
Then… the rangefinder stopped working. Argh! I miss the advantages of a rf…
Concert (with the SRT-101 and on 1/30th, f/1.7, Neopan1600).
Thomas Dybdahl says: “Cheers!”
